TC Consulting is an independent company dedicated to providing COSHH consultants and Noise assesment consultants in addition to environmental health and safety management services to the manufacturing, financial, leisure, education and retail industries.

As defined by proprietor Tom Halliday (right), the primary aim of TC Consulting is to assist companies in ensuring they correctly evaluate and adequately control the risks to the health of their workers and the environment in general, as is required by law.

Demonstrating adequate control of the risks to the health of employees from dusts, mists, fumes, and vapours is the fundamental requirement of the new Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 and 2004. TC Consulting offer bespoke risk assessment and management systems as well as undertaking workplace exposure monitoring for solvents, dusts etc and full design, test and inspection of local exhaust ventilation systems.

Demonstrating adequate control of the risks to the health of employees from excessive noise levels is the fundamental requirement of the new Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005. TC Consulting offer full noise assessment consultancy and surveys including the required risk assessments.

Achieving the required level of control of the COSHH and Noise risks ensures not only legislative compliance, but also a healthy workforce, which in itself leads to a reduction in down time and an increase in productivity.

The Environmental Protection Act 1990 and its subsequent associated legislation place duties on companies with regard to emissions to atmosphere. TC Consulting provides monitoring services for these emissions including particulate matter, gases, vapours, fumes, odours and noise.
